As a Real Estate agent you will be responsible for facilitating real estate transactions and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your knowledge of the local market and dedication to helping clients achieve their real estate goals will be key to your success in Real Estate.


Here's what you can expect as a Real Estate agent on our team:

  • Assist clients in buying and selling properties in Alaska, while providing excellent customer service throughout the entire transaction process.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about current real estate trends, property values, and comparable sales in the local area.
  • List and market properties for sale, utilizing various marketing channels such as online listings, social media platforms, and traditional print media.
  • Conduct property showings and open houses, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each property to potential buyers.
  • Guide clients through the negotiation and closing process, ensuring all necessary documentation and legal requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the real estate industry to expand your network and generate referral business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, laws, and best practices to provide accurate and reliable advice and assistance to clients.

Requirements of being a Real Estate agent on our team:

  • 1-3 years minimum of experience as a licensed Real Estate agent in Alaska.
  • A valid and active Alaska Real Estate License.
  • Willing to hold, or move, your license at our brokerage - Herrington and Company, LLC.
  • Will to be a part of, if not already, the Anchorage Board of REALTORS®.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local real estate market, including current market conditions, property values, and neighborhood trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong negotiation skills to advocate for clients' best interests during transactions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using real estate software, databases, and online marketing tools.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail to manage multiple transactions and client relationships simultaneously.
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for property showings and client meetings.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
